AMBIENTA is a project dedicated to the Pineta di Roccamare, conceived with the intention of activating a debate on the sustainability and preservation of a unique place in Tuscany and Italy.
AMBIENTA is an unusual moment of confrontation and intellectual exchange that invites contemporary artists to confront the splendor of Roccamare and the masterful vision of Federigo Ginori Conti, who realized his idea in the 1960s inspired by the village of Punta D'Este in Uruguay.
The invited artists reflect on the history of the place, its exceptional nature, as well as its current critical issues and sudden changes, intervening with natural materials found on site.
Two editions have been held so far - 2016 and 2017 - and seven artists have been involved.
