Zaganelli works hibridly as artist, curator and initiator of cultural activities towards an idea of collectivity.
Through his practice he investigates the social and public dimension of the concept of “space”, developing projects and interventions based on the contexts, working in response to places and involving local people and communities during the process.
The outcome is different each time: from public interventions to digital researches, from museum exhibitions to the creation of series of books, from curatorial projects to the organization of conferences, meetings and workshops.
Over the past two decades he has promoted and created projects and activities in Italy, Europe and Asia. Since 2015 he has been working continuously in Taiwan, Japan and Thailand.

Among other projects, the solo exhibitions “Superficially” at MOCA Taipei (2018) and “Grand Tourismo” at the Gallerie degli Uffizi in Florence (2018/2019); the participation in the Setouchi Triennale in Japan (2019) and in the Thailand Biennale (2021-2022); “L’artista per la collettività” (2022-2023) and “Ping Pong Platz” in Tokyo (2023).
In 2024 he will attend the Forest Art Festival in North Okayama, Japan.
